Credits and Usage
Understand what uses credits in Kitful and how current plan limits work.
Credits are used when Kitful does AI-powered work for you. If you plan to publish often or run Autoblog campaigns, it helps to know how usage adds up before you start.
What uses credits
Kitful currently uses credits for these actions:
| Action | Credit cost |
|---|---|
| Generate an article | 15 |
| Generate an image | 2 |
| AI edit | 1 |
| Discover topics | 1 credit for every 5 keywords |
Simple usage examples
- If you generate 2 articles, that uses 30 credits.
- If one of those articles also generates 3 images, that adds 6 more credits.
- If you ask Kitful to discover 20 keywords for Autoblog, that uses 4 credits.
Current plan limits
| Plan | Monthly credits | Workspaces | Queue limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 20 | 1 | 1 |
| Starter | 500 | 1 | 3 |
| Pro | 1500 | Unlimited | 10 |
What queue limit means
Your queue limit controls how many active generation jobs you can run at the same time.
If you hit your limit, wait for a job to finish before starting another one.
When credits run low
When your credits get low, focus on the work that matters most:
- generate your highest-priority articles first
- keep image generation on only when you need it
- be selective with topic discovery size for Autoblog
If you are publishing regularly, check your remaining credits in Kitful before starting a large batch of work.
Best ways to avoid surprises
- Start with a small test article before generating in bulk.
- Run a smaller topic discovery round before launching a large Autoblog campaign.
- Review your publishing workflow so you do not generate content you are not ready to use.
