Publish or Schedule an Article

Kitful gives you two ways to send content live: publish immediately or schedule it for later. The right choice depends on how hands-on you want to be.

Before you begin

Make sure you have already connected a publishing destination in Integrations.

If you have not done that yet, start with:

• Shopify
• WordPress
• Ghost
• Webhooks

Publish right away

Use this when your article is ready now and you want to send it to your integration immediately.

Steps

1. Open your article.
2. Click Publish.
3. Choose an Integration.
4. Click Publish to confirm.

This is the fastest option when you want full control over the final review before going live.

Schedule for later

Use this when you already know when the article should be published.

Steps

1. Go to Articles.
2. Open the Scheduled tab.
3. Click New slot.
4. Choose the publish time and click Apply.
5. Select the integration.
6. Search for the article you want to schedule.

Once the slot is set, Kitful will handle the publish at the scheduled time.

When to use each option

Choose Publish when:

• you are ready to go live now
• you want to do a final manual review first
• you only publish occasionally

Choose Scheduled when:

• you plan content ahead of time
• you want posts to go live at a specific hour
• you are building a publishing calendar

Common reasons publishing does not work

• the integration was never connected
• the integration is disabled
• the connected destination changed after setup
• the article is missing final details you want to review first

If a scheduled slot fails, open the slot again and double-check the selected integration and article.

Good to know

The Publish button is for immediate publishing only. If you want a timed release, always use the Scheduled tab instead.
